i wrote this song during peak lockdown, and unlike most of my songs, i made the beat first and wrote the lyrics after. for the first time since high school it feels like, I was just straight up having fun with music instead of trying to push out an entire product i had already envisioned down to the last detail. my creative flow is bizarre to me - definitely some shit i need to work out in therapy. i do know that i don’t think i’ve created with that level of childlike playfulness since, so this song is really fucking special
